Hotel Royal Village - Blu Hotels

Friendly staff and a special thanks to Monica and Luna on reception who were very helpful . Rooms are comfy and clean although a little dated but this isn’t a brand new modern hotel , it has character. Only improvement would be maybe some background music in restaurants to create a better ambience. Food was good but sometimes not as hot as it could be , regardless of the time we ate . Views from pool area are amazing as was view from our balcony . Walks from hotel are great ie San Giavanni waterfall is worth doing . Walk down to town , next to the falls is really pretty .

What a fabulous hotel! It is kept so clean and the food is amazing. Also the staff are so helpful, in reception Madallena was my star, nothing was any bother, also Luna. When we arrived we were allocated to room 228, which, I'm afraid, was poor, but when I went to reception, Madallena took note and the next morning I was in 302, and what a difference! The hotel is situated at the top of a steep hill but they run a shuttle bus to the lakeside and town. If I ever went back to Limone, I would request this hotel! Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

The staff were lovely. The views from the hotel gardens and the dining room are excellent. This was the only hotel around lake Garda I could find that has buffet for breakfast and evening meals. Which suits us all. But I will say this is the only hotel I've ever stayed in that DOESN'T have baked beans at breakfast, no fries or ice cream with the evening meal. Maybe that will change 🤞 There aren't many English at this hotel which would explain the different food. Meat eaters, there some roasted meat potatoes and a vegetable so you're fine. We have some vegetarians in our group and they have struggled. But it's only for a couple of weeks and there's some salad and lovely fresh crusty bread. If you like your brown sauce with your breakfast bring your own as they don't sell it in any of the shops nor in the hotel. We haven't had the weather unfortunately. Rain, clouds, and wind. With the occasional sunny hour. We wouldn't go again but would encourage others to go as it's a beautiful place. The lake with the mountains behind it is stunning. Tui rep comes every so often during breakfast time. I don't know about you, but for me, not much of a choice between breakfast and the TUI rep. The day trips can be booked through the hotel with local companies. We went to Venice. The tour guide was Alex who was very knowledgeable. If you get the water taxi 9euro over the lake you can get a cable car up the mountain. Beautiful view well worth the 26 euro for the cable car. There's also a day boat trip 51 euro, do it, we had a great time. There is a walk down to the lake. Yes it is steep but if you walk next to the stream there are benches all the way up. The road is steep and narrow, so keep to the sides as there are bends too. The hotel started the shuttle bus just before we left. It's two euros each trip. There is an Italian restaurant that you can go to once every week you are there. And that is where they are hiding the pizza and ice cream. Would recommend this hotel, it was clean, staff were great, rooms were clean. Antonella works at the pool bar and is great. Her language skills are brilliant.

Hotel very clean and well maintained, our room was cleaned every day by very polite, friendly staff, room was basic but spacious, large bathroom excellent power shower. We had a nice balcony overlooking the lake, good air con and tv with just one British chanel( enough as we were out most of the time) with so much to see and do. Pools were great! We liked the indoor pool and the jacuzzi’s. Plenty of sun beds around the hotel with lovely views. Entertainment for kiddies and the adults was excellent. Lovely walk down to the lake and beach via a stream at the side of the hotel although a little tough coming back up in the heat, there is a shuttle bus, pick up a timetable from reception. Food choice was good in both restaurants although the cooked breakfast wasn’t very warm. Also, we took a travel kettle etc. as there is no facility in the room to make a cuppa. All staff polite, welcoming, friendly an helpful. I personally cannot fault this hotel. 🤩
